President, Co-Founder
Jordan Murray, Mu Psi 2016
Jordan is a co-founder of the Tree Of Knowledge Alumni Foundation. He currently serves as the President of the organization. Jordan looks forward to connecting the alumni of the Mu Psi chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and raising money for scholarships that support North Carolina A&T State University.
Jordan Murray is a 2018 alum of North Carolina A&T and a Spring 2016 into the Mu Psi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Jordan currently works in the HVAC industry as a regional Service Sales Manager for an building automation company.
Vice President
Javon Skinner, Mu Psi 2008
Javon serves as Vice President of the Tree Of Knowledge Alumni Foundation. Javon brings his leadership capabilities and a creative dynamic to the organization from years of work with the Mu Psi Chapter, a number of Graduate Chapters, and Corporate America that he uses to help the organization connect to all generations in which the organization has a desire to reach.
Javon Skinner is a 2010 & 2013 graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, where he was initiated into the Mu Psi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. in 2008. Javon currently works in the Steel Manufacturing Industry as an Engineering Supervisor where he leads a large team to drive goals towards the company’s success.
Secretary
Christian Kornegay-White, Mu Psi 2016
Christian co-founded the Tree Of Knowledge Alumni Foundation and is the Executive Board Secretary. His role consists of but not limited to keeping detailed records of our meetings and essential documents. My role is to preserve our organization's history and help future board members understand our vision. I work closely with executives to make sure our actions match our goals and continuously drive to achieve what we set out to do.
Christian is a 2018 North Carolina A&T State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a 2021 University of North Carolina at Charlotte graduate with a Masters in Engineering Management. A native of Raleigh, NC, Christian has traveled the country as a manufacturing and supply chain consultant, helping his clients optimize processes and increase efficiency.
Parliamentarian
Shawn Gordon, Mu Psi 1983
Bro. Gordon is a 24-year veteran of the United States Air Force serving in a variety of engineering and project/program management positions during his tenure as an aerospace professional after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. As a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute he continues to give back through avid membership in professional organizations and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

As the parliamentarian, he is required to be thoroughly familiar with meeting procedures, rules (in accordance with the latest version of Robert's Rules of Order), and by-laws as approved by this august organization of Mu Psi Chapter alumni. Assist in the drafting, annual review, and update of the organization’s by-laws, as well as other pertinent documents that address governance and agreements associated with the alumni foundation as appropriate.

John Faison Jr., Mu Psi 2021
In my role as the Public Relations representative, my primary focus is on enhancing the digital presence of the Tree of Knowledge Foundation (TOK). This involves curating content to ensure a positive and compelling image across various digital platforms. From disseminating vital information to crafting visually engaging graphics for TOK, I am dedicated to creating a strong and consistent online identity.

On a personal note, I am a proud native of Nashville, Tennessee, and a recent graduate in architectural engineering (Class of 2023). Outside of my involvement with TOK, I also serve on the board of directors as an IUG Rep for the fraternity. My dedication extends to my faith, my family, and my commitment to Omega Psi Phi, where I pour my energy and passion into each aspect of my life.
Chairman, History
Michael Anthony Washington, Mu Psi 1976
Brother Washington currently serves as chairman of the Tree of Knowledge History Committee. My goal is to present the facts on the history of Mu Psi as we find them in order for the brothers make an informed decision on the direction Mu Psi wants to take on its history. Brother Washington is proud to have been one of Mu Psi brothers to serve on Mu Psi Plot Renovation Committee, served as it’s treasurer and he oversaw the installation of the project.
Brother Washington is a 1978 alum of North Carolina A&T State University and was initiated onto the Mu Psi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Chapter in 1976. Brother Washington retire from the United States Department of Agriculture in 2011 after 24 years of service.
Chairman, Finance
Robert Alston, Mu Psi 1995
Brother Alston currently serves as chairman of the finance committee on the Tree of Knowledge Foundation. As our Finance Chair, he adeptly oversees our budget and ensures our strict adherence to financial commitments and obligations.

Robert Alston is Sr. Director of Operations for U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company (USSTC), a company within the Altria family of Companies. Robert received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Systems from North Carolina A&T State University and his Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. Robert currently resides in Nashville, TN where he enjoys fishing, physical fitness, biking, traveling, dancing, and volunteering. Robert has one daughter, a 4th generation graduate of North Carolina A&T State University who currently resides in Charlotte, NC. Robert is an active member of numerous community focused organizations including the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce, Expectations Investment Club and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
Chairman, Program
Uche Byrd, Mu Psi 2004
Uche Byrd was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago. As a graduate from The North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Uche not only obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, but he also went on to earn a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering. During his tenure at the A&T, Uche was fortunate enough to pledge the Mu Psi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., as well as to hold the position of Mr. Aggie.
Uche also served as the Region 2 Pre-College Initiative Chair for the National Society of Black Engineers and Vice President of the Midwest Aggie Club. As a Resident Assistant at The Aggie Suites, Uche was a mentor and motivation to many. Today, Uche resides in Decatur, GA as a Life Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
